Noordkaap

Artspace Noordkaap is an artist collective developing a committed, activist program  that picks up actual concepts of society and converts them in an artistic and visual program for a wide audience.

In 2010 Noordkaap develops international partnerships and explores the possibilities for extending the program to other cities. Noordkaap has a growing network of artists around the world and is based in the Netherlands. The identity of Noordkaap is determined by close cooperation between the association and the guest artists who work for short periods,  connecting local issues  to their own work. We work with annual programs with space for ad hoc response to current events.

Noordkaap is being supported by the Mondriaan Foundation, VSB Fund and the City Council of Dordrecht.

We are member of INURA (International Network for Urban Research and Action), Switzerland and Artfactories, France.
