Tirzo Martha
Antillian artist Tirzo Martha creates politically and socially charged visuals, large installations, videos and performances. He wants to offer insight into the various elements that together form the complex structure we call Caribbean society.
His work deals with the history of slavery, tourism and political corruption, but also with the islanders' daily habits and living conditions.
In 2006 he founded the Instituto Buena Bista in Curaçao together with David Bade and Nancy Hoffmann.
