Recycle X
Recycle X is a cooporation project of Noordkaap and The Zone Patching that started in January 2010 and was launched in the Voorstraat in Dordrecht.
A team of five artists / designers live and worked for seven months in the street and invites residents, shop owners and visitors for a series of workshops and do-it-yourself design processes and experiences.
Recycle X seeks to make an artistically critical contribution to the redevelopment of one of the shopping streets in Dordrecht into the main cultural axis for the city. For Recycle X we worked together with our partner The Patching Zone (evolving from V2_Rotterdam). This project runed from januari 2010 till september 2010. The MA students selected by The Patching Zone lived and worked in the specific shopping street and Noordkaap organised a series of projects in this context.
