The Faxlore of the Mobile Office will move trough the city and produce flyers and news-headlines in the streets of Dordrecht. Passangers can contribute, discus and produce statements reflecting on present working conditions, growing precariousness, discourses on economics and its implications on everyday life. The streetmade messages will directly be faxed to an oldskool Mother Fax located at Noordkaap.

The project explores social conditions among everyday life of working men and women in times of recession and change.

opening Friday 29th of May 20PM

Eva la Cour is an artist, activist and organizer, living and working in Copenhagen, Denmark.

She frequently collaborates with others around different subject fields, which often result in project-based work. While her work spans visual arts, video, and writing, the different aspects overlap, often exploring the urban public space; exploring the creation and production of action-space, in a theoretical and practical level – and to break down the barriers between.

La Cour is genuinely interested in re-interpretations of the use and production of “shared” (public) space within the urban environments. Some of her projects include "A Demonstration of Power" initiated by Douglas Paulson (Queens Museum, New York, 2009); "The Triangle Project" with Douglas Paulson (Labor-K1, Berlin, 2007); "Sci-Fi Bike tour of Queerenhagen", curated by Jacob Fuglsang and Derya Demir (The Hall, Istanbul 10th Biennale, 2007) and "A demonstration of power (Hall of Copenhagen theater, Camp-X, 2008).
