"De Parallelle wereld van Erik Sep"

Just before his six months leave to a studio-residency (of the CBK Kunstfabriek a.k.a. art-factory) in Berlin, Noordkaap presents recent work by Dutch artist Erik Sep.

His dioramic 3D mappings show a dramatic thrill for prefab ugliness. By use of his sense for detail he translates the architecture of the 1950's into a pile-up of industrial residue. Sep's Parallel World consists of many dimensions which come to live via ingenious watering-systems, his own networks of city light-plans and his self made tiles made of mirrors and what not. In Sep's City one experiences an almost never ending atmosphere of construction, deconstruction and re-invention. During his solo-show you will find the artist himself at work in the City which will take place in our project-space. Just the way we like it!
